The Life of Andalin : My Testament

I was born at the Equatorial Retreat, Generation 21 since the fall. Life is simple but short for us in the 23rd C. My husband Thoren a hunter, singer and stargazer died 9 moons ago. Most choose mates born on the same day but we loved.
As an Elder I have had the privilege of this last week free from community duties in order to prepare.

We have but 19 years. It is difficult for us to rediscover the knowledge and pass it on to each generation as well as rebuild the technology and skills to reverse this disaster.

I have tried to enjoy and appreciate this life as totally as possible each numbered day. As we cannot prolong life, we must go into it deeper and with intensity to be truely fulfilled and can only wonder how in those centuries past with so long to live that they all achieved so little.

I was not talented at biology or genetics our community’s primary effort and so joined a team endeavouring to send a warning back to the 21stC.
Others have already tried.
We hope to use the energy released by our deaths to transmit this plea.
